With fruit drawn from a mature site in Four Mile Creek, this was wild yeast fermented in micro-lots including barrels, then aged in large and small barrels for 22 months. It has a pretty nose with all kinds of rose-like florality, raspberry and red plum fruit, tobacco, cedar and spice. It is medium weight, warm and nicely balanced with excellent focus and length. Wanted a bit more palate weight to live up to the lovely aromatics. Tasted April 2024.
